The mission of the BBRI is to create a high quality biomedical research program that addresses the health research and training needs of underserved minority groups. The program's aim is to: generate information that will improve the health of the minority community, provide students with state-of-the -art skills in biotechnology and broader access to careers in the biomedical sciences.
