The Undergraduate Fellows Program

The Undergraduate Fellows Program offers undergraduate students the opportunity to work and train with faculty, staff and other students in the JLC-BBRI. The objectives of the program are to create an environment at NCCU that will stimulate student interest in choosing a science discipline for their major, nurture those students that have already committed to pursuing science as a career path, and provide a framework for support that will facilitate cooperative learning among students at all levels.

Participants in the Undergraduate Fellows Program will receive Monthly stipends or Work Aid support based on their classification.
Classification: Hourly Wage:
Freshman $10.00
Sophomore $10.50

Students are also required to attend research seminars/lectures, attend weekly laboratory meetings, and at the end of each semester, submit an abstract delineating the accomplishments during the semester.
