Deborah L. Pritchard - Ph.D. – Assoc. Director of Academic Support
B.S., University of Delaware; Ph.D., University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill; J.D., North Carolina Central University.
Before obtaining a position at North Carolina Central University School of Law, Deborah Pritchard earned a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Delaware and a Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She worked in the chemical industry for a number of years, most recently in the field of catalysis.
After graduating from the Law School’s Evening Program, she was an Associate with Kilpatrick Stockton, LLP. She is currently the Associate Director of Academic Support. She has also taught N.C. Distinctions.
She is a member of the 14th Judicial District Bar and the North Carolina Bar Association. She is licensed to practice law in North Carolina before the state court and all federal courts. She is also admitted to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their two sons, reading, and playing golf.
