Krishnee Gaddy Coley – Director of Academic Support

Krishnee Gaddy Coley is a North Carolina native. She attended UNC-Chapel Hill from 1993-1997 and graduated with a B.A. in African-American Studies and Political Science. Krishnee received her Juris Doctor magna cum laude from NCCU School of Law in 2000. While at NCCU, she was Notes/Comments Editor for the Law Journal.
After graduating from NCCU, Krishnee worked as an Associate Auditor for Spectrasite Communications in Cary, NC. She then clerked for Judge Wanda Bryant (‘82) at the North Carolina Court of Appeals. Thereafter, Krishnee entered into private practice and worked at Browne, Flebotte, Wilson and Horn with a focus on family law and immigration.
In 2003, Krishnee returned to her hometown of Pinehurst, North Carolina to work as the Assistant County Attorney for Moore County. She primarily represented the Department of Social Services in child abuse, dependency and neglect hearings as well as elder abuse matters. Krishnee also represented the Child Support Enforcement Agency as well as the other county agencies in various legal matters in district court, the Employment Security Commission and the Office of Administrative Hearings.
Krishnee was most recently employed at Womble, Carlyle, Sandridge and Rice, PLLC. as a Project Attorney. She has also served as a grant reviewer for the U.S. Department of Education and as an Adjunct Legal Writing Professor at NCCU School of Law.
Krishnee is married and has two children. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and reading.
