Marcia R. Ballard,
Development Officer
Marcia R. Ballard was born and raised in the Borough of Manhattan in New York City. She attended the State University of New York at New Paltz, where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. Prior to joining the staff at the School of Law, she was employed by, and also retired from, International Business Machines (IBM). Mrs. Ballard is involved in fund raising, event planning and marketing functions at the Law School.
She is a member of the Bonjour Africa Malaria Project in Durham, NC. Her interests include collecting art, reading, hiking and swimming.
Mrs. Ballard’s favorite motto is: Dum spiro, spero – while I breathe, I hope.
