Tammi D. Jackson - Associate Dean of Finance and Administration
Tammi D. Jackson has joined the law school as our new Associate Dean of Finance & Administration. Dean Jackson recently came to us from Valparaiso University School of Law where she was the Executive Director of Financial Planning and Human Resources. While at Valparaiso, she was also a Lecturer of Law teaching Law & Accounting for upper level law school students. Her previous financial experience includes positions at the University of Maryland, W.R. Grace Davidson and Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation.
Dean Jackson received a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Connecticut (1993); M.B.A. in Finance from Sacred Heart University (1995); and J.D. from the University of Maryland School of Law (2000). She was admitted to the Supreme Court of the United States of America (2007), the Court of Appeals of Maryland (2001) and the District of Columbia Court of Appeals (2002).
She has written the following law review article: “Free Social Services: Where Do I Enroll? – The True Cost Welfare Recipients and Undocumented Immigrants Have on the U.S. Economy” will be published in the Loyola University Chicago School of Law Public Interest Law Reporter upcoming Immigration Journal issue (2008).
Dean Jackson was the Treasurer and Board of Director member for Salvation Army Porter County, volunteer at Hilltop Neighborhood Community Center and mentor for Big Brothers Big Sisters. She is also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
