Mergent Industry Review. Mergent, Inc. Semiannual.
Provides comparative statistics, industry rankings, and growth rates for approximately 8,000 companies in 133 industry groups.

This three part investment source provides coverage for 1,700 companies plus an industry review for 90 industry groups.
Public companies that sell on the stock exchanges typically have links to their financial information on their home page. Look for links such as Investor Relations, Investors, Investors Information or Financial Information. Or, use the next three listed websites to go directly to a company’s annual report.

Coverage: Provides abstracts and indexing for over 3,200 scholarly journals covering a wide variety of subject areas from 1984 to present. Includes many complete articles from over 1,000 journals including 380 journals dating back to 1990.

COMPUSTAT (Research Insight) via Standard & Poor's Corp.
NOTE: Accessible only on the NCCU campus. Disks are in the School of Business.

These sources include U.S. Federal and State case law, codes, regulations, Shepard's Citations for all U.S. Supreme Court cases back to 1789, company financial information, and industry and market news.

These are only a sampling of the business journals and newspapers related to finance and investment housed in the Shepard Library. Electronic titles may be accessed through NC LIVE databases and Journal Finder. Current print titles are located on the second floor in the Serials Department and Reserve Department. Older titles in print are located on the third floor in the Annex. Microform titles are located in file cabinets on the second floor in the Serials Department.
